From Personal Journey to Community Mission

KF Place Foundation was founded out of a deep personal journey that began with our founder, Mrs. B.A Funsho, and her daughter, who was affected by a fire incident. This life-changing event inspired a mission to provide accessible, high-quality care for children with disabilities, particularly within a system that has long lacked inclusive educational opportunities and specialized services. Since 2017, we have worked tirelessly to offer global-standard education and therapy to children with disabilities in Kano and beyond. 

Our goal has always been clear: to provide each child with the chance for a brighter future, regardless of the challenges they face. Our journey has been driven by both a personal understanding and a professional dedication to helping children grow and thrive in an inclusive environment. Named after Khadijat Funsho, our center is a testament to resilience and the belief that every child deserves the chance to succeed. With a team of dedicated specialists, we have transformed the lives of many children, building a community of support that empowers families and nurtures children’s unique strengths. At KF Place Foundation, we are redefining disability care in Nigeria, offering hope, healing, and opportunity to every child who walks through our doors.
